About

DigandFlow.com

Well for starters my name is Jim, I live in Montana and I’m here for one thing: the outdoors.  I’ve been in love with being outside as long as I can remember, it’s the whole reason I’m here now.

When I first got here I knew that I was excited about the skiing and backpacking but was clueless when it came to whitewater and the mecca that I had just entered.  Southwest Montana is blessed with absolutely incredible whitewater and in my backyard are the Gallatin, Yellowstone, and Jefferson rivers 3 major players in the rafting scene and that’s not including all the lesser known mountain rivers like the Boulder, Snake, Flathead, and countless others.  I’m continually amazed with the natural beauty of this place.

That’s why I decided to start DigandFlow.com, it’s a way for me to talk about what I love doing and in turn making me more knowledgeable on the topic of whitewater boating.  From leisurely floats down slow placid water during the height of summer to running the Mad Mile and chasing uncharted whitewater in the Crazy and Tobacco Root Mountains water has become part of me and being the given the chance to share my passion with others is a dream come true.

I hope I can give you a clear view into my world of water and provide you with the resources to make yourself a better paddler.  Have fun, look good and be safe!  Dig and flow baby!
